To sum this up on one page would be impossible! For myself I've had a very tough year
fighting a disease called Hemochromatosis or Iron overload. Since I was a child.
I had a dream to find a place to take all the pain away. I've found that dream. I surely should
not be alive today, but God wanted me to reach my dream. The Pacific Edge is better than any treatments I've received in the states, and my thanks to you, George & Suzy,
for making it the perfect stay. I WILL BE BACK!!! You really have no idea how much this has helped me. Thanks again.

How very REAL and down to earth George and Susie - the owners - are.  Having traveled  the world a few times over, they have seen, heard, experienced, and lived so varied a life which in turn has shaped them to such beautiful people!  Always there to help and give.  Coming to Pacific Edge is an amazing way to be part of their lives.  In a western world where one so rarely meet people that are both honest, true and lovely it sure was longed for and refreshing to visit them at their home.  Listen to their stories under vast skies filled with beautiful nature sound and learn about humans and our ways.  We did, as well as laugh our heads off many times!! They'll forever be in our hearts and memories.

We spent 4 nights here in late May and loved every second of it.  Pacific Edge sits way up on a ridge with a FABULOUS View (sometimes including whales) of the ocean and coastline below.  George and Susie (Brit/American) are great folks "boat people" who have sailed and lived all over the world.  The cabins are efficient, shipshape, just like you'd expect with sailor owners.  The four cabins are cantilevered down a slope, so you don't look into your neighbors windows.  Windows on four sides to collect breezes.  Each cabin has a great open air porch with hammock, table and chairs.  All four cabins have fabulous ocean view.  Grounds are lovely with small pool, open air dining and bar area.  Secure parking for four or so cars.  This is a GREAT choice!!

Like a bird in paradise, delighted to see how you live in harmony with nature, and share it.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The view of the ocean and mountainside is terrific.
Your lodging seems to have everything here and as they say, location, location, location.
We enjoyed seeing the many birds and especially the toucans.
Food was great and thanks for letting us stay another day. If you are ever in McLean, give us a call.
Best ever

Pacific Edge. Costa Rica
9 february 2001
Viewed from a cabin on a high outcrop, the Pacific coastline snakes away for miles into the mist
rolling in over the vista of sea, beach and mountains.
The evening air etched by outbursts of toucans, howler monkeys, insects and surf.
A question whispered, an answer shrieked.
A new adventure begun.
